A Little About Me
My name is Lindsey Gobin. I am the owner of Grace & Grit Poodles. I got my first poodle when I was nine years old. My parents surprised be with a toy poodle puppy and so began my love of poodles. My first poodle's name was Willy. He was a white, toy poodle. Willy was a wonderful dog. Incredibly loyal and loving. We showed in 4-H. We did very well and went on to win 5 years in a row at the Ohio State Fair in obedience. When I was 16, I got another toy poodle. Her name was Shelby. She was a black toy poodle. We showed in 4-H and in AKC conformation. I showed dogs and horses in 4-H for about eight years. My 4-H leader owned a dog kennel and I went to work for her during the summers when I was in college. Yet at the time I did not think about having a dog business. I went to college to become a teacher and I taught kindergarten for 6 years.

In 2011 I got my first Standard Poodle and my first multicolored poodle. His name is Toby and he is a Red and White Parti Poodle. After six years of teaching I decided teaching was not the job for me. I had a career change and decided to become a dog trainer and open my own business. I went to dog training school at National K9 Learning Center in Columbus, Oh and in 2015 I started my business Pawsitively Blessed, LLC. Toby went to dog training school with me and became my demo dog. He helped me with training lessons. Each of my poodles have been very special but Toby is what I would consider my "heart" dog. He has been through a lot with me. He is the best dog anyone could ask for.
Three years ago I got two more standard poodles.  One is a black and white standard poodle and her name is Echo. Echo has become my new demo dog and she helps me with the training business. Toby is now 12 years old and is retired from helping me. He now can spend his days relaxing on the couch and taking it easy.
Three years ago I also got a black standard poodle named Adelaide. Adelaide is my first Show Poodle. I have been wanting to show and breed poodles since I was a kid. I love the Poodle breed. They are the best dogs. So in 2021 I got Adelaide and so began my journey to start showing and breeding poodles. Adelaide has since earned her UKC (United Kennel Club) Champion and Grand Championships in conformation. She has also earned titles in obedience, rally obedience, fast cat, barn hunt, Canine Good Citizenship, and more.
In January 2024 I started Grace & Grit Poodles. My goal is to breed quality standard poodles in solid and multicolors.
The dogs and I live in the country in Ostrander, Ohio.
